Andrea and Peter got ready at the Clarion Hotel in Hull, with the Reception at Immaculate Conception in Weymouth and the reception at the Atlantica in Cohasset. Arr matey, here be a few pictures:

She wore these red shoes with her wedding dress. They’re stylin’.

After the ceremony I was driving towards the Atlantica when I saw this in a baseball field and I knew I had to get ‘em out here for a shot!

Memorial Day in Boston

As my cousin’s visit to Boston from Costa Rica drew to a close, Suzi and I decided to take him on a liesurely stroll through Boston. †It was a beautiful day, and I shot some Polaroids and some film with my Holga. †

The owner of this car lives right by us. I always forget to take pictures of it.

We got off the T at Chinatown and started walking towards the North End, which is Boston’s version of Little Italy.

I got lucky and took a hail mary shot of this mahjong game with the camera over my head. I can’t believe how perfectly framed it is.

I saw the colonial soldier walking down the street and got ready to shoot him as he walked by. To my astonishment, he stopped and stood right in the center of my frame to view the mural.

My cousin took this shot of Suzi and I.

Once I-93 went underground, there was some debate as to what to do with the land. Some wanted to put up more buildings, a lot of people wanted to put in greenery. I was glad that they put in a park. Here is a spot with a dancing water fountain.

Ah, cold cold Boston. †I shot Cara & Dave’s engagement session shortly before leaving for Vegas and lemme tell ya, it was tough to go back home. †I didn’t go to Vegas to gamble my cash away though, I went for†WPPI, the largest wedding photography convention and tradeshow in the country. †Pics from the trip will be up soon. †But first, I present to you Cara, a fellow nerd like me, and Dave, a fellow rocker like me. †Their wedding is in May, and it’s gonna be awesome.

Since we’re all Somerville residents, we decided to spend some time at Sacco’s, a candlepin bowling place right in Davis Square. I love that place.

The Somerville Urban Country Fair

Over the course of the next 2 weeks I will be putting up a bit more personal work. I’ve been shooting a ton and I gotta share!

First up: the Somerville Arts Council has done a great job of infusing the city with neat art-related events. Yesterday Suzi and I spent some time looking at a lot of local artists selling their crafts in Union Square, just a short walk from my house. A few country musicians were also playing for the crowd. It was great fun, and I decided to bring one of my new toys to take some candid portraits. These are Polaroids. Yup, Polaroids. I love ‘em.
