It’s been a good week!

I’m feelin’ mighty good lately, and it’s in large part to some of my wedding images winning awards in two photography contests!

I’m a member of the International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers, an organization that prides itself on listing experienced and talented wedding photographers. I entered their 2nd Quarter contest. In addition, I also submitted images to Wedcomp, whose judges are some of my favorite wedding photographers and they’re the best in the industry. Here are the images that placed!

First off- first place in the ISPWP Pure Art category is… well, look up! It’s the panorama of Cara and Dave I took with my Holga that’s the banner image of this blog. A couple of other images from Cara and Dave’s wedding that also placed:

10th place, Wedcomp and 16th place, ISPWP in Ceremony

4th place, ISPWP in the category Candid Portrait.

I already happened to have this as the first image on my website! It’s from Claire & Chris’ wedding:

3rd place, Wedcomp, Getting Ready.
