Yoni Gordon & the Goods, Merganzer, Diamond Mines

Yoni Gordon plays some of my favorite indie rock in Boston, and he’s decided to move to NYC. He kicked off his pre-move tour at TJ Scallywaggle’s, a vegan pizza joint and sub shop in Allston.

The place was tiny and hot, but the bands played great sets. I couldn’t get there earlier to take a ton of shots of Ben Weiser (from Diamond Mines), but the few songs I heard were great.
